These are beautiful moments when you feel the Spirit of God and the unity that develops by praying together and remains “in the flow” of the Holy Spirit. So here`s the question: What does a prayer of unity look like when we gather in His name? Matthew 18:19 has nothing to do with prayer. You completely take verse 19 out of the context of Matthew 18:15-20, which deals with Church discipline. Scripture cannot and will not contradict itself. Conversely, 1 John 5:14 speaks of prayer and adds the most important factor when He hears our prayers, when it is according to His will, not ours. Please pray for me. I desperately need a job in the next two weeks or I am in great danger of losing my home. I tried everything: pray, fast, but there is no answer from God. Please pray for me that the Lord will help me find a loving and caring prayer partner and a good prayer church that will support me spiritually and also help me quickly get a good job for the glory and honor of His name. Please pray for me that the Lord will show me what is hindering the answer to my prayers and that these things will be eliminated quickly and that the Lord will lift up my spirit and strengthen my faith and provide all the money I need right now and help me guard my home. The Bible teaches that there are different types of prayer. Prayer of agreement is one of them. Prayer of agreement usually involves two or more people coming together and deciding to pray for something specific they desire.

For example, if you want to make a change in your work, family, health, or anything else, you can call someone you think is stable in faith to pray in accordance with you. The prayer of unity is an effective way to share burdens in prayer. But make sure you follow the rules. First, Scripture says, “If two of you agree”; that is, two or more people must be involved. Then it says “as touching everything they ask”; This means that you have to be precise. In other words, the parties involved in prayer must come together and state the points for which they will pray. Finally, you must pray in faith and in accordance with the Word. If Jesus Himself will indeed be in the midst of two or three believers praying in accordance and harmony with God the Father, then it means that Jesus hears their prayer loud and clear. And if Jesus hears their prayer loud and clear, then these two or three believers will have a very good chance of getting their prayer answered by God the Father.

The word “Agree” comes from the Greek “SUMPHONEO”, which means to be harmonious or to coincide with the basis of the English words symphony and concert. Thus, prayer of agreement can be considered as a request for prayer made or accepted by more than one person at the same time for the same cause. However, the idea that Jesus taught seems to involve more than prayer, but also the purpose and attitude of those gathered together. For I know that this will be revealed through your prayers and the help of the Spirit of Jesus Christ to my deliverance: sometimes the individual prayers of a group seem to follow a spontaneous program that develops linearly. That is why, first of all, I demand that supplications, prayers, intercessions and thanksgiving be made for all peoples, for kings and for all those in high positions, so that we can live a peaceful and quiet life, pious and dignified in all respects. 1. The reason why this type of prayer is called the prayer of agreement is due to the specific formulation used by the Lord. Note that in the very first sentence, it says that when two people “agree on everything they ask for on earth.” The power of the Lord sustains prayer of agreement. Jesus is the one who told us, “If two of you on earth agree on everything you ask, it will be done for them by My Heavenly Father” (Mt 18:19 NKJV).

Don`t argue with the Bible – take its side! The Word of God is true. Remember: unity does not mean “conformity” with the identical opinions or beliefs of other believers, but it does mean “harmony,” that is, “mixing” our love and devotion in Christ to our co-religionists. May we gather as disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ and reconcile our love, prayers, and faith to make beautiful music by hearing our Lord in heaven! Individual prayers, accompanied by softly spoken amens and other signs of agreement, reveal a sense of unity from the rest of the group to the guidance of the Holy Spirit. In other words, two people must be in perfect agreement with each other on the specific prayer request they wish to present to the Lord. This means that now two people are approaching God`s throne and praying for exactly the same thing. Praying in accord is a powerful way to effectively address problems in prayer while responding to the guidance of the Holy Spirit. While the leader of a prayer group may have introduced the starting point of the prayer as “prayer for x”, the prayer time moves according to “x” on the corresponding topics “a, b and c” in the related thematic prayer. If we learn to pray according to what the Bible says, our prayers will be productive. Do not limit Matthew 18:19! Prayer of agreement will work because it is the Word of God. You can be powerful in prayer alone, but you can be more powerful when someone joins you! I believe that God and Jesus are trying to tell us, with the specific wording of this verse, that there is extreme power in common group prayer – where a group of believers all unite in harmony, harmony, and agreement with each other about what they will pray before the Lord.

I felt nervous and intimidated to pray in a group and thought when someone was praying for something I was thinking about when it was my turn; the thought was, “Oh great, they took what I wanted to pray, what am I praying about now?” As I matured in prayer, through Dunami`s teachings and weekly practice, I learned this; Praying in agreement takes away the pressure and focus of prayer and focuses on the purpose where the Holy Spirit directs prayer, as Mary Ellen said. Thank you very much for your teaching! I was greatly encouraged by praying amicably during the Events in Dunamis. This clear teaching helps us understand the biblical and spiritual principles that underlie this style of prayer. Thank you Because of this very special and personal space that is established between you and the Lord, He will often answer your personal prayers if you simply approach Him on your own. This next mystery of prayer tells us that when two or three believers can come together in their prayer to the Lord, that God the Father will move to answer the prayer. A better way to move forward for group prayer is to build our prayers on each other`s prayers. One person begins and the next person takes up the subject and continues the prayer in agreement, adding to the previous one. If, as the Old Covenant says, “one man could drive out a thousand,” then “two could flee ten thousand,” then the increase in power and the outcome are exponential if they are united in the agreement. (Deuteronomy 32:30) After doing all this, you can be sure that your prayers will be answered.

The Bible says, “And it is the trust we have in him, that if we ask for something for his will, he will hear us” (1 John 5:14). The next time you want to make a change in a situation, follow the rules of prayer okay; It is a sure way to pray and get results. First of all, therefore, I demand that supplications, prayers, intercessions and thanksgiving be done for all men. If God wants to reunite you with other believers from time to time, it means that you need other good Christian friends whom you can immediately call and ask to pray with you in unison and in unison. Many of you already have good prayer partners with whom you can do this. Likewise, husbands, live with sympathy with your wives and pay homage to the wife as the weakest vessel, since they are with you the heirs of the grace of life, so that your prayers may not be hindered. Praying in agreement, each prayer appearing as a piece of the puzzle, is the job of bringing together similar pieces of the puzzle into a unified whole. I prayed sincerely for my husband, who decided to return to our home country in Africa after studying in the UK. My husband is not as strong spiritually as I am, and I encouraged him to believe and grow spiritually. Things are so difficult, I`m back to finish my studies in another African country, he`s back home looking for a job and trying to start a business.

We need a serious financial breakthrough. As an African family, we have many dependencies and family responsibilities that we cannot take on right now. Also, I`m pregnant with our first child together and we don`t even have the money for doctor visits! All this frustrates my husband and he tends to become anxious and angry. He`s thinking about going back to Britain, but I don`t want him to because it might take him further away from God`s grace! I know the life he lived there and I don`t want him to go back to this life! Please, I need your advice on how to direct my prayers for a job and a financial breakthrough.. .
